My
ceramic
work
is
influenced
by
a
special
interest
in
decoration,
especially pattern and mark making Simple functional forms are decorated
with patterns and often animal imagery including cats and dogs. These
creatures have a special ability to work their way into our lives.
In
recent years I have been enjoying using decoration on wearable ceramics.
I like these pieces to have a 'one off' quality and to show some
evidence of the hand of the maker.
