Fairytales
For Grown Ups
Maggie
Millar read
a program of Fairytales for Grown Ups, that is, before the wowsers got
their hands on them on Sunday 27 March. Maggie’s reading skills
are legendary and range from reading Elizabeth Jolley at Federation
Square to reading James Joyce in Dublin, prompting poet Doris Leadbetter
to write: "I would listen
to Maggie Millar reading anything, and I don't exclude the telephone
directory!"
