About
The Gallery Mt Macedon can be found in the small village of Mt Macedon high on the southern slopes of the mountain.
It is situated behind the church, down the laneway alongside The Trading Post Cafe.
Within the picturesque setting of tall gums and established gardens of the mount, The Gallery is a perfect place to visit, spending a little time exploring the wonderful art from the Macedon Ranges.
The Gallery has been a feature in the region for twenty years and continues to provide a fantastic range of exhibitions from, not only the gallery collective members, but a host of visiting artists who display their works on a monthly basis in the Focus Room exhibition space.
The collective artists of TGMM are all locals and demonstrate a vast array of skills and media types in their works. One of them is on duty each day.
Close by are places to pick up a tasty lunch including The Trading Post out front.
And for garden lovers, just next door is Stephan Ryan’s, Dicksonia rare plants nursery.
Focus Room Exhibitions
The Gallery provides a fantastic range of monthly changing exhibitions in their year long calendar.
Often one or more members will showcase a deeper exploration of their interests in a series collection, and very often, Visiting Artists bring different skills and techniques with their body of work on display temporarily.

August Focus Room Exhibition
Art To Wear in The Gallery
Art to Wear in The Gallery is the feature at the Gallery Mt Macedon for the month of August beginning Tuesday 4 August until Monday 7 September. Ten textile artists, including members of The Gallery, will show knits, silks, felts, hats and much more.
All garments are for sale and entry is free.

Spring into The Gallery
For September the members of The Gallery welcome Spring. So “Spring into The Gallery”, from Tuesday 8th September until Monday 5th October, and enjoy the season of renewal in the form of art works, textiles and a myriad of accessories made by our local artists and artisans. There will be something for everyone and, of course, that special gift.
Spring in the Macedon Ranges is a time of lightness, colour returning to our winter gardens and a “Spring” in our step. We invite you to pop into our exhibition of colour and Springtime on display, then visit local cafes, gardens and nurseries.
Look for the bright signs next to the Trading Post and head down the lane. Mildred the cat will appreciate a pat as he greets you at the door.
